Book 3, Adrian and Melody is in the Publisher's hands
I had a difficult time letting this manuscript go. Kept feeling like it needed more...add more...edit more. Had to make sure EVERY timeline issue was perfect with the continuity and flow of the story so no dates were botched or in conflict. The perils of writing a series of books I suppose. I Did It!
Finally I have seen all my muses live. The 80's icons who inspired the characters in my novel series and lead me on this wonderful journey of writing! On December 2, I was able to travel to Atlanta to see Brian Setzer, who inspired the character of Douglas "Dagger" Meyers. It was an amazing show. Brian is an awesome performer! Book 4???
I honestly thought I was done when I finished Book 3, Adrian and Melody. The couple has come full circle. It seemed like the happiest of endings had finally arrived. The Journey HAS Just Begun

2016 is here!
I meant to write a blog for the new year. But then realized I don't really get into this whole new year thing. To me, the new year begins on April 29, my birthday. Sex, No Drugs, and Rock and Roll?
Some people may read "A Melody for Adrian" and think to themselves, "Where are the drugs? These guys are in a punk rock band, they should be doing drugs?" I made a decision to not have drugs in the first book (although there will be some issues in book 2) for a simple reason. I've never done any illegal drugs and have zero experience with them. Others Who Have Inspired me
When I write, I picture the characters and their actions in my head, like a movie. So for me, inspiration on what those characters look like or act like often comes from my real world experiences.
